October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we at Rags and Rouges would like to honor that by hosting a contest that honors this cause that is very dear to us. To do so, we are giving away this Ralph Lauren Exclusive FTBC polo shirt .

The winner will receive this shirt that is worth $75.00 USD. As an added bonus, Rags and Rougs will be PERSONALLY donating an additional $2 USD to the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Foundation for every person that participates in this contest as a thank you to our faithful readers for the support we will receive during this Contest.

Again, this cause is very important to us, and we want to show our gratitude to you by supporting you, and this very worthy cause. The contest will start today, and run until December 1. On December 1st, the winner will be announced, and the shirt will be ordered to the color and size specifications of the winner’s request. This contest is open to men and women. Men, don’t be shy about participating! Think about what a wonderful Christmas gift this would make for that very special woman on your list – your mom, your sister, your daughter, your wife, your girlfriend. These shirts are an exclusive design and will not be around long.

The winner of the contest will be the reader that has participated the most at Rags and Rouges from the date of the contest opening, today October 10th, until December 1st, 2007. We will be adding top commenter plug-ins and an on-site menu for all readers to see who is leading in the contest. The winner will be announced December 1st, 2007.

To enter the contest, you MUST follow these instructions or you will not be entered in the contest:

1. You must be a subscriber to this blog through either email subscription link or RSS feed. Please use our handy feed subscription buttons in the far right navigation bar. 2. You must remain a subscriber for the duration of the contest. Anyone that drops out or unsubscribes will be disqualified immediately. However, this only disqualifies you from winning the shirt, Rags and Rouges will still contribute the $2 for everyone that subscribes between now and midnight E.S.T. on November 30th.

3. Once you have subscribed to this blog, you MUST, I repeat MUST leave a comment in THIS post to notify us of your subscription. These comments will be matched with the number of subscribers to ensure that all is fair in contests and fashion. If you are ALREADY one of our subscribers, please send me an email at chrissie@ragstyles.com letting me know the date you subscribed and I will double check that with my feedburner account stats and enter you in the contest manually. This first comment you leave WILL count towards your final count total. If you subscribe and comment to the blog but have not notified me of your subscription through commenting at THIS POST, you will not qualify for this contest.

4. If you have already commented on this blog, this will go towards your final count total. Readers that have been with us since Day 1 will be thanked for their loyalty by having their previous comments counted. To date we have a little over 100 comments, some of them have been made by myself in reference to other posts, we only have a few regular commenters, so don’t despair. There will be 3-4 posts daily so you have plenty of time to catch up.

5. We hate spam as much as we hate acid washed jeans, so don’t worry, spam comments will not be approved and will not qualify.

6. Your comment needs to be relevant to the post you are referring to. In other words, create meaningful comments, those such as “I agree” or “great tip” are not meaningful comments. Use your judgment, as will I when moderating comments.

7. The contest will close at 12:00 A.M. EST December 1st, 2007. There will only be one winner selected. In the event of a tie for number of comments posted, the winner will be determined according to who subscribed the earliest in the contest. Your comments will be time-stamped and determined accordingly in the event that two readers have the same number of comments.

8. I will post an announcement on the blog of the winner, and the total dollars earned towards the donation, and will also notify the winner by email. Please make sure all information you give is correct. Shipping and handling will be covered by myself, this contest is open to all readers across the globe. When you are notified of your winning, you will have the opportunity to choose the size and color of your prize.
