Buy Perfume, Donate to Seven Charities on July 7, 2007.
Ew. I usually try REALLY hard not to talk about Prince, but I just need to get this out. (I will make it fast). Today is lucky 7 day, right? July 7, 2007. Prince is cashing in on this to help out those less worthy *cough* I mean fortunate. Ok, so this is worth a few gabs on him. His intention is to help out 7 different charities today through the new scent 3121 by Cosmetics Inc.
Today, 7% of each sale will be divided among the 7 charities. The price of 3121? You got it, $31.21. (I have such smart readers). The charities included will be: City of Hope, The Jazz Foundation of America, Helping and Loving Orphans, Elevate Hope Foundation, Urban Farming, The Bridge, and Edith Couey Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund.
And the scent? I got a sample in one of my mags, and I have to say it’s not that bad. Some gardenia, jasmine, ylang ylang, a little bit of everything really for a nice not overwhelming scent. For $30 bucks that you are basically giving to less fortunate, I’d say it’s worth it. Put it this way, I’ve spent more and smelled not this nice. So, its worth a try.
