More T’s for Charity — Fashion Gives Back
The benefit is for Malaria No More and is being hosted by none other than Glamour Magazine. The charity is one that fights malaria in Africa by providing pregnant women and children with nets that have been treated with pesticide as a preventive measure.
Glamour has taken on five new up and coming designers to create a limited edition T-shirt that will be sold exclusively on shopbop.com. Each T-shirt purchased will provide 3 nets for these African women. Glamour is using this as both a chance to help women in need and their children, and to also highlight some up and comers for an extremely worthy cause.

Each designer was paired with a celebrity for the launch party. Thakoon was with Amanda Peet, Erin Fetherston with Joy Bryant, Marchesa with Emily Mortimer, Peter Som with Ginnifer Goodwin, and Jovovich Hawk with Catalina Sandino Moreno.

I think it is great when people get together to do something for the people having less than one self.
We recently started a nonprofit organization, that we called Hand of Hope http://www.handofhope.dk here in denmark where the object is to build homes for streetkids in ghana and let them get the oppotunity of going to school, but we have started with collecting of clothes that we give away down there.
