Last up but certainly not the least we have Cynthia Nixon’s fashion statements vis a vis Miranda Hobbs. Now this is a girl who frequently takes my favorite in terms of character development, there is just something about her cynical, feisty, sarcastic approach to life as a working mom that I can just so appreciate. Love Miranda. Now that being said, her fashion is not always at the top of my list of favorites, but we recognize her just the same in this series. (more…)
Ok ok ok, yes, I am ACTUALLY going to write about Charlotte York Goldenblatt, played by the always lovely Kristen Davis. No not many people really would put the word “fabulous” beside her fashion plate, but she really and truly is. This is the girl that we all want to be sometimes, a little prim and proper, with never a hair out of place, and skin to die for. For this movie, Charlotte’s character strayed just a bit from the prim and proper, but she still managed to maintain a very sexy look, even when she was styled immaculately with matching…well, everything.
Here Charlotte’s look is just one example of the moving away from the prim and proper, and she looks uber sexy here in an ensemble where lingerie is cleverly styled over a hot pink blouse. We see Charlotte starting to let her hair down, and we like we like how she does this while still maintaining an elegance that only Charlotte can exude. Now here is one lady that can teach us ALL a thing or two about confidence. Wow is all I can say when it comes to well, just about everything our dear Samantha says or does. But trust me when I say, this is an awe inspired wow, because if I could have her attitude, her confidence, and still look THAT fantastic at the age of “fifty fucking three” as she states, then I will be on happy girl.
Yep, her fashion and plotline definitely stole the show here. This is a girl that can wear a peek a boo dress with the best of them, and outshine Miley Cyrus on the red carpet wearing the same dress. Samantha is a character that can pull off big jewels to match her big attitude, and she just always looks incredible. Not a lot of frills and frou frou, but outfits in bold statements, with bold accents, and you have yourself a character that doesn’t let anyone step on her standards. This beaded gown you see here is one from the Naeem Kahn Spring 2008 collection, paired with a Jimmy Choo clutch. (more…)
